This started to be a quickly made flyer made fore a "Latino Night", things were going easy easy... and than a sponsor "Kronenbourg" came and it needed a poster a cd cover as well as scratchable cards... etc... at the begining the pic seemed "burk" and the more i worked on it and the more it seemed better...

With this work i understood that having a multi cultural knowledge of graphic art isn't enough! you need to have a better and deeper understanding of what can be called latino graphical art (not just cuban and brasilian) or Asian (not nippon only) etc... need to read books and to look at the world more often...

God I almost cried reading your comment, yes!!! Latino is not only cuban or brasilian (yes their culture is very rich and complex and vibrant) but there are other expressions out there and the Che isn´t our only iconic figure!!!. Check out the galleries of these guys and girls (i'm not saying they're good but just to get a feeling):

hello dear one!!!! i think u have forgotten with who u are speaking...
of course i know other iconic figures from south america, while not wanting be showbo i can tell you, bolivar Zapata or cabracan the mayan etc... but if you haven't noticed the Che figure is just the Name of the club where the fiesta happened...
